Club volunteers meet once per month to review the treasurer's report and vote on funding requests, and - in the spring - scholarship applications. Volunteers are welcome to serve on committees such as the Scholarship Committee, Building Committee, and the Gem Show Committee.
Volunteers at our weekly BINGO games help sell papers and make payouts to our winners.
By popular request, we have expanded to host two Gem Shows per year. Volunteers are needed to help direct traffic, post signs, serve the vendor dinner, and a myriad of other tasks that go into providing a successful show.
Each year the Sportsman's Club collaborates with other local agencies to host the annual Back-to-School Day, where students and families can receive information and services to help them have a successful school year. Volunteers help distribute backpacks, shoes, and other needed items.
Each October, the Sportsman's Club provides area children with a safe place for trick-or-treating. Volunteers dress up and decorate their cars, and it's hard to say who has more fun...the children or the volunteers!
